Festival Ceilidh Fun For All!
Friday 24th August, 7.00-9.00 pm
Our ever popular Festival Ceilidh is back for the third consecutive year in the stunning, historic setting of Greyfriars Kirk.
There’s no need to worry if you’ve never danced before as all the dances will be expertly called by band leader Graeme Munro with fantasic music from the Clappy Doo Ceilidh band, one of Scotland’s best dance bands.
So, bring your friends and join is what will be a night to remember dancing to some wonderful Scottish music.

FREE Welcome Dance
Tuesday 18th September, 8.00-9.30 pm
Come and join in some easy dances at this free event. Whether you’ve danced before or want to give it a try you will be made very welcome and have lots of fun.
Some of our dancers, teachers and musicians will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Christmas Classes Party
Tuesday 11th December, 8.00 – 9.45pm
Always a favourite evening, we look forward to seeing lots of dancers having fun and putting into practice everything you have learnt over the term.
Don’t worry if you’ve not made it to a class, we’d love to see you anyway.
Saturday 2nd February, 7.30-10.30 pm
Always a favourite on the dancing calendar, with a programme of easy popular dances that are fun for all, along with a mini Burns Supper.
Saturday 11th May, 6.30 for 7pm
This is the highlight of our dancing year and is always an elegant evening in the historic setting of Greyfriars Kirk.
We are delighted to be welcoming Iain MacPhail and his Scottish dance band to play for us again and are sure they will keep us on our toes the whole evening with some great tunes.
Tickets will be on sale early November and we recommend that you apply early for tickets as this event regularly sells out.
Tickets will be posted early in 2019 and will include cribs for all the dances. There are no recaps at this event, however you are welcome to join us at the pre Ball Workshop for a fun afternoon practicing some of the dances. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other dancers ahead of the event, in a relaxed and informal setting.
