Introducing Theresa MacVarish Clark
Theresa started Scottish country dancing in Lochaber when she was a child and continued in Oban as a teenager, dancing at school and in local shows. When she moved to Edinburgh in the late 1970s to work as a primary teacher, she joined Edinburgh Branch dancing in the demonstration team and took her teacher's certificate in 1986.
Over the years Theresa has danced and taught in many countries including Japan, The Netherlands, USA, Canada and the former Yugoslavia. For many years she taught classes in Edinburgh Branch. She is regularly on the teaching staff at RSCDS Summer School in St Andrews.
Scottish country dancing has always played a major role in her life and she is delighted to be teaching our Advanced Class this Autumn term.
